Autumn Happenings (Lots of Resources)

Hello Reader,

Fall Into Leadership

Some of you are clinging to summer. I am NOT.

As we get a jump start on Autumn, here are a few happenings Karl Bimshas Consulting is involved with that might interest you.

SparkLab Summit

Join us for the next SparkLab Summit on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM at The Nexus Theatre at the University of San Diego. This hands-on workshop is designed to help individuals find clarity, confidence, and connection in their work. Are you ready to amplify your impact and align your vision with your actions?

Executive Mind Masters

Karl Bimshas is facilitating an exclusive leadership roundtable, Executive Mind Masters, starting Thursday, October 2, 2025. This weekly, invitation-only advisory group is for business owners and department heads who have five or more direct reports and want to enhance their leadership skills. A rotating 12-week curriculum that covers key topics, including goal setting, team performance, and financial health, with an emphasis on focus and accountability.

Combatting Leadership Drift

Leadership Drift, which is the gradual erosion of a leader's purpose and direction through small compromises, can lead to a collapse of integrity and inefficiency. Karl Bimshas Consulting offers an Anti-Drift Framework to help leaders combat this. This framework includes tools and systems, such as the Leadership Guidance System (LGS) and the Effective Leadership Integrity Index (ELII), to help leaders regain clarity and control.

The Leadership Guidance System™

Effective leadership is a system, not just a "vibe." The Leadership Guidance System™ is a structured approach to leadership designed to help leaders navigate with integrity and stop Leadership Drift. The system guides leaders to answer three critical questions: "Where are you going?", "Where are you right now?", and "What are you doing about it?". It consists of three main components: Guidance (vision and values), Navigation (self-awareness), and Control (accountability and decisions).

Why Building in Public Is Part of the System

You’re looking at something unfinished. Not because it’s broken. Not because we’re unprepared. But because we chose to build it in full view, before it’s glossy, before it’s perfect, before it’s “ready.”

Leadership Without Accountability Isn’t Leadership

We’ve confused visibility with competence, mistaken charm for character, and let influence take the place of integrity. In the space created by those errors, accountability disappeared.

FREE Leadership Drift Check™

This quick self-assessment helps you identify how much leadership drift you may be experiencing, and how to course-correct fast.

This is your invitation to see what you’ve been avoiding.

Monday 10-27-2025 Culture Leads, Systems Sustain Too many leaders hide behind systems. They think a new process, policy, or program will magically fix dysfunction. It won’t. Systems can enforce compliance, but culture determines whether the system endures or gets undermined. That’s true whether you’re managing a department or confronting systemic social issues. If your culture doesn’t support your system, you’re enforcing empty rules that no one believes in. When systems and culture are...
